BTN is the propaganda arm of umNO that survive on the rakyat's money!! I'm almost 59 and let us share my experience. Remember May 13th '69? A few months after the incident MAGERAN started a youth programme at Pusat Latihan Belia Dusun Tua for 2000 youth. It was called Angkatan Belia Pembina Negara and of course made up of 99% Malays (majority of them from rural areas. The classroom lessons are mostly on Malay nationalism or you can called by any other name like Tatanegara, Pembangunan Negara, Sejarah Kemerdekaan and shits like that. At the end of the programme 30 of us were chosen for further brainwashing at Pusat Latihan Tatanegara. The place? A big bunglow rented from a rich Chinese businessman where Wisma Central stands today!. The contents of the programmes? Malay supremacy, hate Singapore, and again shits like that?

So, you youngsters still believe in what the umno leaders are telling through their propaganda arms like RTM, Kemas, BTN, Utusan and Berita?

I have five kids, all grown up. I had a real tough time in 'debriefing' them and telling them that first they have to be a good Muslim before they can become a good Malay but if they're a good Malay they can never be a good Muslim. Why? In Islam there's no such thing as Malay Supremacy? Muslims have to be good to Allah SWT and fellow human beings. Allah SWT is All Knowing and All Merciful and would forgive our wrong-doings when we repent. However we do not know what is in other people's heart! A large number of us are not that forgiving and they want to settle their score in front of Allah, Muslims or none Muslims! So beware. There no such thing as Malay supremacy!

I want to share with you an interesting fact. I am a former student of MRSM Langkawi, from 2005 to 2006. This "Warisan" song will be sang in every assembly in our college.

If you can see, there are some parts of the song which I marked with full capital letters.

From what I saw, this part mentions about the role of religion in the Malay society.
But this part was hidden, and not included in the song that the MRSM students sang during assemblies.

I am really frustrated with this situation. The government is moulding the students to be racist. But that is not the actual purpose of the song at the first place.

If the "hidden" parts is included, this song is purposed to teach the Malays, to be loyal to their religion, to reject selfish leaders, and give their full effort to elevate the status of Malays. I think this is OK.

Unfortunately, after this alteration, this song seems to educate the students to use all ways they can, whether it is wrong or right, to maintain Malay supremacy.

I hope that you will spread this to everyone. Thank you.

I believe by now we all know what they going tell to more and more. My dear good hearted Malaysian friends Its our choice whether we want or we don't want. If we want to stay we have to face more like this in future. Malaysia is not only the place in this world. This must come first in our KAUM PENDATANG mind. Our great grandfathers took a brave decision when they decide to come to this part of the world when things are not good then. When there is no planes no internet no e mails. So what we are going to do now. Take it if this is what you want or leave it if this is not what you don't want. Try to venture further I believe we definitely can do it. Ramai suka pakai gelaran Dr di hadapan namanya bagi mengaburi mata orang lain kononnya merekalah orang hebat dan berilmu, takut orang tak tau dia orang ada gelaran itu. Saya sendiri pun segan mau pakai gelaran itu.Pakai Encik saje lah. Dapat PhD bukan menunjukkan seseorang itu hebat. PhD nya itu hanya atas satu kajian kecil pada satu bidang yang memenuhi bilangan pembolehubah yang memudahkan kajiannya. Bukanlah bila dapat PhD menunjukkan seseorang benar-benar bijak. Dia hanya tahu bidang yang dia kaji saja, tidak lebih dari itu. Kena pulak masa kini, kajian ilmiah boleh dijual beli seperti menulis laporan, memperagakan data dan statistik, semata-mata mau gelaran PhD itu. Yang berpengrauh dan ada duit lagi mudah untuk buat perkara-perkara tidak intelek seperti ini. Jadi PhD bukanlah passport kehebatan ilmu. Nelayan di pantai sana, penoreh getah, tukang-tukang ukir dan banyak lagi itu sebenarnya lagi hebat dan sebenar2nya hebat kerana melakukan sendiri perkara-perkara yang mereka buat, mereka punyai ilmu dari keringat mereka sendiri, cuma tidak diberi pengiktirafan sebagai Dr PhD. Jadi tak payahlah nak tunjuk-tunjuk gelaran Dr itu, dulu mungkin orang hromatlah tapi sekarang dilihat suatu yang negatif dan sinis kerana gelagat yang empunya gelaran itu sendiri.

As long as the Ultra Malay National Organisation is in power, the Malays as a whole will never advance, except under an affirmative action programme such as the NEP. But that is not real advancement, it is a handicap.

As an example, consider how the Malay students in Singapore, under a meritocracy, fair in international comparisons, compared to Malaysian students.

Malaysian students as a whole lag behind students in other countries. In the Third International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS-R) Malaysia ranked 16th out of 38 countries in mathematics and 22nd in science. That means Malaysian students were in the bottom 60 percent. In contrast, Malay students in Singapore, at the primary and secondary school levels, were in the top 15 percent in mathematics. In science, at the secondary level, Malay students in Singapore were also in the top 15 percent. What this tells us is that Malay pupils can hold their own even in international comparisons. They can and do succeed in an open, transparent and meritocratic system.

The only reason why Bumiputera students, and Malaysian students as a whole, do so badly is because that UMNO has deliberately placed the race and religion card to hold the Malays back so that they will not know any better and that UMNO will continue to rule through its racist policies that inflict more harm on the Malays than on others.

It is time for the Malays themselves to wake up to this reality and challenge that UMNO - the Ultra Malay, ketuanan Melayu UMNO. All our Malay children can and will succeed. All they need is quality teachers and other educational inputs from day one of primary school, and a transparent, meritocratic education system.

The thing about education is that when you lower standards at the top level, as that UMNO has done with through the quota system, it affects education at all levels. Education production is not like other forms of production. In education, the main input - teachers - is its own output. So when the quota system lowers the quality of the output from our universities and teacher training colleges, as it has done, our schools end up with lower and lower quality teachers. It becomes a vicious cycle and this has been going on for over a generation. Is it any surprise to us then that Malaysia has fallen far behind Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong when at one time we were on par with them?

Our fellow Malay rakyat must wake up to this reality. The UMNO we have is the very party that is destroying the hopes and aspirations of our children. This UMNO is taking away from your children the education they deserve!

I also have to disagree with the notion that the Malays as a race is non existance.

If you refer to my previous postings, the Malays have not just existed, but also built empires, i.e. The Srivijaya Empire.

The Srivijaya empire have impressed so many historians as it was the longest running empire ever to exist in the history of man.

A glimpse of the greatness of Srivijaya is Chandi Brobodur. Chandi Brobodur is the handiwork of Malays and it is considered as one of the 7 wonders of the world along with the Pyramids of Giza.

Do you also know that the 13th May incident, the Chinese were victimized wrongly?

In truth, before 1969, the Malays were in despot state yet Malaysia's economy was vibrant.

Despite the CHinese being more economically prosperous, but in truth they only owned not more than 20% of the nation's equity.

The bulk of the nation's wealth went to Britain as the British still controlled most of our country's wealth i.e. tin and rubber.

But, UMNO didn't tell the Malays that. Instead, they told the Malays that most wealth are going to the Chinese and therefore, the Chinese are making the Malays poor.

UMNO didn't want to tell the Malays that it was UMNO who agreed for the British to remain in control of Malaysia's wealth. And that UMNO dare not retake the wealth away from the British.

Furthermore, the MCA and MIC didn't help as well as they too benefited from the anti Malay anti Chinese sentiment.

So, when problems cannot be solved and the Malays were openly rebelling against UMNO, the easiest escape is to blame the Chinese and innocent Chinese blood was spilled for UMNO's stupidity.

Dear All,

TQ for the comments given in this blog. I must say, even though I am a full blooded Malay, I had to leave Malaysia just to find a job fitting my qualification and experience.

The job in Malaysia pays peanuts and they want us to work magic.

So,no. Not only CHinese and Indians suffers from BN's incompetence, but also Malays i.e. yours truly.

I figures if i remain working in Malaysia, i will have to work for the next 40 years just to be able to pay for my house let alone to have a decent savings.

I felt that i was unappreciated in Malaysia despite being a Malay and working in a GLC. The typical GLC is filled with idiots who only listens to people who are willing to pay them under the table.

You will find corrupted contractors have a stronger influence on the management than experts in the field.

I, then, decided that my skills and knowledge is more appreciated overseas. I left.

I am happier working overseas and i found that my Malay collegues working overseas are equally happy and content with their jobs.

I concluded as long as BN and UMNO is in power, Malaysia and Malays can never advance.

Despite Malaysia pretty economic growth over these past few months, something just doesn't seem to be right. It is almost as if the GDP growth figures were manipulated or spiced up.

Well, they weren't. Contrary to popular belief, the government does not really "jack up" economic figures. It just found clever ways to "spice up" growth figures. That is all.

Let us use last year as an example. Abdullah found out that the economic figures were not good, and it couldn't have been at a worse time. Elections were just around the corner and he didn't want the economy to appear weak.

So he did something very clever - he increased the wages of civil servants. This of course, leads to higher spending. And as we know, spending helps boost the economy.

I am not saying that civil servants do not deserve a pay rise. But the reason why they were given one couldn't be any worse. Yes, Malaysia is actually a failing economy. China and India are fast replacing Malaysia as manufacturing powerhouses. Half of Malaysia GDP figure comes from the manufacturing sector.

If oil and palm oil prices did not increase last year by a mile, Malaysia would have registered an economic growth of somewhere near 3.5%. This is a measly figure for a developing country.

By 2014, Malaysia will no longer be a net exporter of oil. In turn, this translates to losses for every sen oil prices go up.

To achieve developed status by 2020, Malaysia should have registered at least an 8% economic growth annually since 1995 (a developed country should have Purchasing Power Parity of at least RM25000, and GDP per capita should be close to PPP figures).

Right now, Malaysia has PPP of RM14700 and a GDP per capita of RM6500.

We have only done an average of 5% increase in GDP growth from 1995- 2007. So Vision 2020 will not be achieved despite what the government might claim. Furthermore, for Malaysia to move up the value chain, (I define this as a country that is able to innovate and produce high-quality products, e.g. companies such as LG, Samsung from Korea) large amounts of foreign direct investments (FDI) are needed.

To show you how low our FDI is, Malaysia has a pathetic RM7 billion of FDI annually while Singapore, a country 100 times smaller then Malaysia, has FDI of RM55 billion annually. Last year, nearly 50% of our FDI went into the Iskandar Development Region.

This, in my opinion, is a project bound to be a major failure. When Singaporeans were invited to invest, they did. But when they started to invest, our smart politicians said this would chase the malays into the jungles.

To summarise everything up:

(1) All the people tax money is being used for stupid subsidies and unnecessary mega-projects.

(2) Immigrants from Indonesia, Philippines are causing wages to remain stagnant.

(3) Malaysia economic growth is now based on oil and palm oil prices. (Malaysia will soon be a net importer of oil, and palm oil prices have reached their peak, meaning it will be downhill from here on.)

(4) Malaysia is suffering from a "brain drain". No qualified professionals want to work in Malaysia anymore.

(5) Malaysia manufacturing sector is shrinking, thus unemployment rates will go up.

Yes, it is good that China will one day become a superpower and I am very proud of it too - as a Chinese. That goes too for India and I am glad it too will become a superpower.

By the way, don't be a katak, many businessmen friends I have are already having trading relationships with China, Singapore etc. Most with China, it is good money there if one is careful and knows the opportunities.

We don't have to return there, we can go anywhere. Today is global you know. We return here for rest and visit friends.

Most make their money and keep outside the country - you know la to help the NEP. Not to have too much money in Malaysia to be counted as non-malay assets. Otherwise how can malays catch up with thousands of overseas Malaysian Chinese earning millions!

Mind you, many of those top graders who are working overseas are earning many times more! My own niece is making in the region of 100000 pound sterling per year at the age of only 30!

Actually Malaysian pay is very low compared to the West just like Indonesian pay is very much lower than Malaysian. So the lucky ones are enjoying their fruits of their labour.

It is ok, we are helping to ensure NEP a success by decrease our percentage of wealth.
