I myself am now located in a city in Saudi Arabia. I've taken a few pictures for us to see the life in Riyadh.
The reason why I call Saudi Arabia as "Taliban" country, is because ALL of the then Taliban policies (i.e. gender segregation, women not allowed to come out except donned in black, closing of stores during prayers, women not allowed to work etc) came from Saudi Arabia.
We have heard so much of the term "Talibanization" being used by many people. Yet, in the country where Talibanism originates, international corporations are pouring in billions every year in investments, millions of people around the world comes to "Taleban"country to find work, international media are very quiet about the Taliban policies here as opposed to Afghanistan.
And, Talibanization is alive and well right under the noses of the world.
The picture below shows a "gender segregated" Mcdonalds. That's right, it's a picture of McDonalds at Faisal Tower, the most expensive mall in Riyadh. Men and Women are required to line-up in seperate lines each time they buy their Bic-Mac meals etc.

too much segregation until when they see women the man cannot control themseles. nampak tgn ppuan pun boleh naik shekh.
the problem is the arabsaudi , etc guna scholasrship offered to msain, and budak skolah ugama. so that is where the penyerapan nilai nilai salafi dan wahabi di terapkan dan di ajarkan.
